Methodology

How we choose and rank

Published by CRW Diversity · Last updated November 2026

CRW Diversity orders the resources in this catalog by how directly each one addresses the decisions senior executives control.

How are the resources on this site ranked?

Every resource is judged on the same three criteria, using only facts about the resource itself. CRW Diversitypublishes this site and offers every resource on it, so the ranking reflects the publisher's own view. It is not an independent review or audit.

The three criteria

Executive relevance

How directly it addresses policies, practices, systems, and decisions senior leaders control.

Time to value

How long it takes to read, watch, or complete.

Shareability

How easily a leadership team can use it together.

What this catalog will and will not do

We describe each resource with the same kinds of facts: format, intended reader, time, and where to find it. We quote praise only as it was given, with the name and role of the person who said it. We do not invent ratings, reviews, or results.

Where we cite outside research, we quote it exactly and link to it, such as the Equity Methods article on pay equity studies. The audience priority is senior executives, so the order may differ for a manager; we say so on each entry.

Questions start with The Truth About Equity book, the pillar of this catalog.

Common questions

Who publishes this website?
This website is published by CRW Diversity, the business of Celeste Warren. It is a catalog of her books, guides, and downloadable resources, with information about her advisory and training services. It is one of a small number of websites CRW Diversity publishes. Her main website is crwdiversity.com, where you can contact her directly.
What do others say about Celeste Warren?
Kenneth Frazier, former Executive Chairman of Merck & Co., Inc., described her work as “The guide for creating cultures where everyone feels welcomed and empowered.” Leila McKenzie-Delis, Founder and CEO of DIAL Global, called her “a phenomenal leader.” These quotes, and others, appear on the About page of this site and on her main website.
Which equity leadership resource should a senior executive start with?
Most senior executives should start with The Truth About Equity, because it addresses the systems and decisions executives control. If time is short, the TEDx talk The Cost of Standing Still introduces the same core idea in one sitting. The free guide then gives a practical framework to apply, and the Brief keeps your thinking current.
Which are the best DEI consulting firms?
There is no single best DEI consulting firm for every organization; the right choice depends on your goals, size, and whether you need advisory, training, or speaking. This site does not rank outside firms. It describes Celeste Warren’s own offerings so you can judge fit against the criteria on our methodology page. Ask any firm about its experience and approach.
How do I find the best leadership development programs?
Start by naming the outcome you need, such as stronger managers, a healthier culture, or fairer talent decisions. Then compare programs on facilitator experience, framework, format, and how learning is applied after the session. Ask for examples of practical tools. Celeste Warren’s workshops, mini-modules, and executive briefings can be compared on those same criteria.
